Hi, my name is Michael Salisbury and I am a fully qualified L2 UKCC Angling Coach. I have over 25 years’ worth of experience in Angling, and whatever your goals are with fishing, I can help you to start making them a reality.
As a L2 UKCC Angling Coach, I am fully CRB checked by the awarding body, the Angling Development Board. In addition, I am a secondary school teacher, which means I am also CRB checked through Essex County Council, and I am highly experienced in dealing with young people. I have Public Liability insurance cover, and I am trained in delivering emergency aid. Each coaching session I deliver is always subject to a thorough risk assessment beforehand.
I also deliver some coaching sessions with my wife Amanda who is now a fully qualified Level 1 Angling Coach. This can be particularly advantageous if you have a group of mixed gender participants who require coaching.
So why use an angling coach? There are many good reasons! You may be a parent who doesn’t fish and you’ve got a youngster who is keen to learn. You may have recently retired and want to take up a new hobby. You may already be fishing, but want to learn new things. Whatever your motivation is, then I will be more than happy to help.
